Rene was awesome, I’m sure every Utd fan was gutted when he left.
Best scenario I think would be to have Van Gaal bring his own assistant,
with Rene returning and working with Giggs. There you’ve got the
experienced manager with his own man he can trust and the two who know and
‘get’ United.
