  3. The era of credit card corporate ruled middle class over hyped English
    football started in 1990’s. Gone has the time when there were real frenzy
    fans, huge atmosphere, singing and chanting young supporters. Football was
    to become game for fat middle age men (and some witches too) with or
    without their pathetic tatoos and beer drinking in all seated stadiums.
    Tommy Doc’s Red Army is now just history just like the KOP.

  5. Cantona didn’t like football so much. He retired because boring corporate
    dominated game didn’t give him much inspiration like real arts e.g theatre,
    not “Theatre Of Dreams”. Only in Latin America and perhaps in Turkey/Magreb
    countries the football match can still be a kind of carnival. Not in
    England and not in continental Europe. The atmosphere there is mostly death
    now. At least partly because stupid decision of all seated stadiums and
    high ticket prices. Stadiums are lack of young people and packed with old
    farts.
