Louis van Gaal says that he will still be at Old Trafford next season

Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal stated that he will still be managing Manchester United next season irrespective of what happen until the end of the season.


The Dutchman claims that he still has the full backing of the club owners and that he will remain until the end of his contract.

There is news that Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has personally assured Louis van Gaal that he will be the manager next season despite the fact that many Manchester United fans want to see changes at Old Trafford. Fans argue that van Gaal is not up to the standard and that the club will not progress under his reign.

The Dutchman told reporters that he wanted only a two-year contract with the Red Devils, but it is the United board that has insisted on giving him a three-year contract. Van Gaal said that rebuilding a team take time and this is why he was given 3 years to achieve it.
